NAME

Weatherformetnosite - Serves a weathermap or the corresponding XML

DESCRIPTION

Weathermap serves the weathermap used on http://met.no. It is not possible to configure which places to be used on the map, and everything is changed according to needs for that site.

You can either get a map for a given time or receive the XML used for creating the map. The XML contains all possible timespans.

On the map you can choose to display pointdata or not (weather symbol and temperature) and you can choose between three different layers, pressure, wind or precipitation. The layers are mutual exclusive.

Parameters

• content_type (mandatory): valid values is image/png or text/xml.
• time: only valid if content_type is image/png, either time or timeperiod and day are mandatory
• timeofday: specify which period you want data for. Only valid when content_type is image/png and must be used together with day. Valid values: night morning afternoon evening.

          night is the period 00-06, morning 06-12, afternoon 12-18,
          evening 18-00

• day: specify which day data is wanted for. Only valid when content_type is image/png and must be used together with timeperiod. Valid values: today, tomorrow
• layer: only valid if content_type is image/png. Valid values are pressure, wind or precip (precipitation).
• temperature: only valid if content_type is image/png. If set to 1 temperatures are displayed. Can't be combined with weathersymbols, use pointdata instead.
• weathersymbols: only valid if content_type is image/png. If set to 1 weather symbols are displayed. Can't be combined with temperature, use pointdata.
• places: only valid if content_type is image/png. If set to 1 the city names are displayed
